By using our serivce, you agree to the terms and condition below. Please read them carefully and you have 24 hours of grace period to cancel the service should you decide not to accept this terms and conditions:

Accuracy and Integrity:

We are committed to delivering translations that are faithful to the original meaning and culturally appropriate. As per industry standards, for tasks translated by non-native speakers into their second language, each translation is expected to contain less than 5% errors. Any errors identified will be corrected promptly. If the error rate exceeds 5% but the deliverable still retains its intended use with minimal corrections, you agree that KhmerTranslators.com will provide the necessary revisions as soon as possible and that no refund will be issued in such cases. A refund will only be provided if the deliverables are deemed unusable due to significant inaccuracies.

You also acknowledge that to achieve up to 99% accuracy or more, a second editor who is a native speaker of the target language must be ordered alongside the translation with an additional charge. A large part of language translation is subjective and can be rendered in different ways. Therefore, a 100% accuracy rate based solely on personal preference is not guaranteed.

Source Fidelity

For any translation requiring KhmerTranslators.com to certify with its official stamp and signature, the translation must remain strictly faithful to the source text. No modifications will be accommodated if the requested changes contradict the original source content.

Confidentiality

All client information is handled with strict confidentiality. Files and related information will be shared only with the individual assigned to perform the task. No information will be disclosed to any third party unless required by law.

Timeline & Revisions

Deadlines are agreed upon before a project starts. Urgent requests may be subject to rush fees. You are entitled to unlimited revisions within a reasonable timeframe if errors are found and verified against the provided source. However, such revisions must be requested within 30 days of delivery. Any changes resulting from modifications to the source text will incur additional charges.

• Value-Added Tax (VAT): All service fees include a 10% VAT.
• Expert Linguistic Work: All translations are conducted by professional, native linguists in the target language.
• Editing and Quality Control: Every project undergoes a thorough review, including secondary editing by a qualified linguist (based on selected package) and final quality control by a dedicated project manager, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Document Formatting: Translated documents are formatted to match the original layout, ensuring readability and professionalism.
• Revision Period: We offer multiple round of revisions within 10 to 30 business days based on the original source text. Revisions requested after this period or based on altered source content may incur additional fees.

Payment Conditions

KhmerTranslators.com requires a 30% deposit for projects over $100 before work can begin. Full payment is due within 7 days of final delivery, based on the invoice date. For projects under $100, no deposit is required. However, full payment is required upon final delivery. We accept payments via bank transfer, Payoneer, or other methods as agreed.  Late payments may incur a 5% late fee, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Refund Policy

Our goal is client satisfaction, and we stand behind the quality of our services. In the event that services do not meet the agreed-upon standards, refunds may be provided under the following conditions:

• Full or Partial Refunds: Refunds will be assessed based on the usability and quality of the completed work. A full or partial refund may be granted if significant issues arise that cannot be addressed through our revision process.
• Eligibility Period: Refunds are available within the agreed support period or, if unspecified, within one month following the delivery of the service. Refund requests made after this period will not be considered.
• Non-Refundable Cases: Refunds will not be provided for changes in project scope or modifications to the source material after delivery. Refunds are also not applicable for personal preferences that differ from the agreed-upon project parameters.

Force Majeure

KhmerTranslators.com is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, internet disruptions, or political unrest. In such events, clients will be notified as soon as possible, and revised timelines will be discussed and agreed upon in good faith.
